Prior to ISB, Han led several high-end security companies focused on risk mitigation and compliance. Before that, he held leadership roles in several companies active in the supply chain industry. Innovation, technology implementation, and continuous improvement are key areas of his focus. Han has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and an Executive MBA and is active on several boards and committees.

Michael Thompson is a visionary and performance-focused leader with 25-plus years of experience building profitable businesses. With an exceptional track record in the Canadian technology and corporate marketplace, he is well known for his customer-centric approach, team building talent and ability to create a deep network of senior C-level relationships. Prior to joining ISB Global Services, Mr. Thompson was at the helm of major Canadian companies specializing in screening technology, supply chain management and innovative 1:1 marketing technology solutions. Before that, he had been vice president of a top-tier travel and leisure company, where he drove record growth and created the largest wholly owned consumer travel business in North America with $1B of network sales. In addition to his leadership role with ISB, Mr. Thompson participates on several boards and industry committees.

Stephen Anderson – Chief Marketing Officer


As Chief Marketing Officer of ISB, Mr. Anderson brings an illustrious investigative background and unique expertise in the area of information management, marketing and business development. Since 2001, he has taken the reins of the company's marketing efforts, and worked tirelessly to strengthen the quality and breadth of its many B2B partnerships across North America. Prior to joining ISB, Stephen honed his leadership skills as security advisor for a major building developer, coordinating security and public access at high-rise buildings in Toronto. He also managed an airport hotel staff of 30, liaising with federal authorities on many security-related investigations. In this role, he had full airport security clearance with the RCMP. A versatile and highly-skilled project director, Stephen oversaw construction and design of ISB's company headquarters in Milton, Ontario, equipping it with state-of-the-art security. He is a member of ASIS, the American Society of Industrial Security, IAAI, the International Association of Arson Investigators, HRPAO, the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (as well as its Manitoba counterpart HRMAM), and APRC, the Association of Professional Recruiters of Canada.

Edward Zukowski – Vice President of Human Resources


Mr. Ed Zukowski is the Vice President of Human Resources for FocusPoint International. Ed brings over 30 years of human resources, training, and employee development experience to his role at FocusPoint. Prior to joining the FocusPoint International team, Ed held the top HR role for a Cleveland based corporation for over six years with earlier career roles in operations, training, and management. Core competencies include experience in conflict resolution, employee counseling, workplace safety, accident investigation and documentation, benefits administration, government compliance, corporate-level recruiting, policy and procedure creation & adherence, culture, and employee engagement.

Mr. Zukowski is a member of The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and served for three consecutive years on the business advisory committee for United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management with a human resources option from Penn State University and completed management continuing education classes at Cornell University.

Melissa Foiles – Director of Privacy and Compliance


Melissa joined ISB Global Services with over ten years of experience in background screening, drug testing, legal research, and risk assessment. Melissa oversees all of the complex compliance and privacy matters for U.S. based clients. She consults with corporate stakeholders within the background screening space in order to ensure compliance and ethical screening processes and procedures. Melissa’s role focuses on fostering both new and existing client and partner relationships. Melissa also oversees the maintenance of ISB Global Services’ US PBSA accreditation.

Since joining the background industry, Melissa has taken an active role in the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA). She has chaired several committees with the PBSA, ranging from the US Council to Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group. Melissa holds several masters degrees in Business Administration, Public Administration, and Information Security Management. Melissa also holds a paralegal certification as well as an Advanced FCRA Certification.

Adam Pennycook joins ISB as Director of Sales, concentrating on Transportation and Supply Chain, after having led a successful sales career in Western Canada over the last 15 years.

To date, his focus has been primarily on new business generation within the technology, HCM, and workforce management space as an Enterprise Account Executive. He has confidently guided his FP500 and Fortune 500 C-level clientele through complex sales processes resulting in impactful, measurable, and meaningful business transformations.

Adam excels at establishing a deep, rooted understanding of his client’s business challenges and requirements from their customers’ unique perspectives, which allows for a truly collaborative solution process, and ultimately, a successful implementation and execution of their strategic initiatives. Adam holds a BA from the University of Alberta.

While providing inspired leadership for the operation of our organization Insurance line of business, Corinne oversee operational activities and strategizes process improvements.

In her current role at ISB, she is responsible for driving growth while assisting customers across the continent meet the critical need for better efficiencies, cost-savings and accuracy in the processing of claims.

Wendy Patton has been with ISB since 2010. As ISB’s Manager, Client Service for the Background Screening and MEE divisions, Wendy works closely with the sales team and is the first point of contact for the onboarding of new clients. Wendy also manages the ongoing client relationship with a key focus on maintaining ISB’s high level of customer satisfaction. If Wendy is not with clients, you will likely find her representing the company at many of our tradeshows and events.
Corinne Linglet – Director of Operations

Now as the Contract Services Manager, Jennifer is responsible for the day to day operations of the entire Employment Background Screening division.

In addition to constant process improvement, Jennifer ensures that the highest level of service is maintained while maintaining strict privacy compliance.

Tiffany has extensive knowledge and experience with criminal background screening, customer service support, & operations management and fulfillment. Tiffany continues to successfully manage our US operations department, which includes several responsibilities of managing our staff, customer service, client account set up, integrations, sales support, product fulfillment, quality assurance, & maintaining ways to help save costs on background research in various counties across the United States. In addition, since joining the ISB team Tiffany has gained a wide range of knowledge in various other parts of the industry which include several different types of verifications, references, drug testing, clearinghouse orders, credit checks, and international searches.

Harpreet's work allows ISB to continue to be a competitive and efficient online shop for our customers.
Jennifer Corbett – Project Manager


Jennifer joined ISB Global Services in 2018 specializing in the Employment Background Screening division. Jennifer brings an extremely high standard of customer service and productivity to the division from her lengthy career in food service industry.
